Stockton on Tees store has a Ugly Betty book for 99p. It's in a large hardback slip case and is designed like a copy of Mode magazine. There's loads of articles about the cast, tongue-in-cheek quizzes and lots of photos. My 14 year old daughter loved it as she's a huge Ugly Betty fan.
  • Hi I decided to start my Christmas shopping last week and went in to Home Bargins in Wellingborough to have a browse, they have an array of Chicco baby toys at bargin prices, I brought "Teddy Count-with-me" 6M+ normal RRP £29.99 for £14.99!! they had so much I found it hard to choose so I am going back again Monday to have another look, If you do have a lot of baby toys to buy for Xmas I totally recommend a visit here. :j

Picked up some ben 10 figures yesterday to put away for my 5 year old. They had a 3 figure set from one of the ben 10 films for £4.99 and some single deluxe figures for £2.99. I also got a large material ben 10 frisbee to take camping for £2.99.

They also had omnitrex's for £7.99 and the ben 10 guess who game (can't remember price) and ben 10 headphones that looked reasonable quality for £7.99.

All the M&S cards had gone, but did get a lovely large M&S wedding gift bag for 79p.

Hi, first time post on this thread. I have been reading with interest for a while as H&B is my absolute favourite shop so thought I should contribute. My local store (Regent Road, Salford) today had children's swimming aids - jackets - for £5.99. Pink for girls, and yellow - for girls for boys. Also had Minky Ironing Board covers for £2.50, and loads of the school dresses for £1.99.

    Better than the Next sale!

Colud have spent loads in Bathgate today...

Had the gormitti radio controlled toys mentioned earlier in thread. Lots of Ben 10 toys and Thomas Tank Engine model engines. Also the chicco toys.

Saw several m&s cards but none that were of any use to me! Also had a nice range of Tesco 'Thank you' notelets, think they were about 39p a pack.

Disney Princess or Fairy sunglasses for 1.49.

Pirates of the carribean bubble bath in model pirate ship for 99p (couldn't resist, bought 2 for the Christmas stash!)

I noticed yesterday in HB they were selling umbrellas at 1.99 with a RRP 12.99 - has anyone bought one? What are they like?

The ones i saw last week were Morgan ones and my daughter has one. Not had any problems with it as of yet.

Today Tamworth store had water butts (self assembly) priced up at £9.99. These look like old Argos stock as have a similar Argos code ticket on the boxes. Also managed to get some of the Sharwoods lemon and sesame seed stir fry sauce for 19p. Have been waiting weeks for this to come back into stock, £1.39 in Sainsburys.
