  • Runcorn had a brand new store open today, on the retail park next to Carpet Right. Had loads of Dr Who toiletry bags that I couldnt get the other day :D Its a pretty big store, furniture, soft furnishings etc.

And the best bit, it has a superlambanana instore!! The union jack one!! And I was told it was staying forever. I hope so, cos I miss seeing the superlambananas around Liverpool.

OMG!! I am SO there!! I wanted the union jack and the chrome silver ones but obv could not bid on them....I miss the lambananas too.

If anyone spots the Lambananas outside Liverpool I'd be really grateful to know where.

What are lambananas? They sound like a good present if they were LFC??

LOL - Just googled it and found the website http://www.superlambbanana.com/home.php?/home

Looks like the sell small ones on there for £28 but can't see any size of the LFC one.

I was told the bloke who owns Home and Bargain had bought 22 at the Mayors Charity Auction. They cost thousands each. For anyone who doesn't know these were statues places around Liverpool and you could do a lambanana walk. My 5 year old son and I had a great time but only found 26 out of well over a 100.

The Liverpool and Everton lambananas are in the East Lancs shop, there are two in the two shops near London Road, one is a Home and Bargains and one is his new furniture Bargains shop. (very cheap table and chairs by the way)
Can't remember which lambananas they are.

Here is a photo of my son with a couple of the Lambananas.
Need to take him to get his photo with the Everton one in his Everton kit.

    They are cool :)

I went to HB this morning and got some of the bottles of Crusha, chocolate or orange flavours for 89p.

Also, they had a lot of curious george items including a bath toy monkey which blows bubbles for £6.99, a Dance mat for £7.99 and a smaller toy for £3.99.

Also, saw High School Musical pillows and fleece blankets which I hadn't seen before.

Hi Tia, sorry i didn't look as my daughter is a bit too young for HSM.

They were square white ones with a picture of the cast of the front. I may have to pop back in tomorrow so will have a look for you then if no-one else has seen them today :)

I think they were like these ones... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/High-School-Musical-2-Photograph-Cushion-Pillow-HSM2_W0QQitemZ120316074451QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120316074451&_trkparms=72%3A1121%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A4%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I'm not linked to the seller at all BTW.

there is a massive one in St Helens on the retail park.

i hadn't read up on this so, i hadn't a clue as to why it was there, but now i know.

On another note, my grandson is curious george mad, and i got him a lovely light up in the dark (face) george for £6.99

If anyone sees anything out there which is geroge related, could you give me a pm, please keep me in mind.

    thanks
