Prenton H & B had 10 bottles of fosters twist lager for £4.49, a variety of lindemans red and white wines for £2.99 & various pataks curry sauces ranging from 19p - 59p in date until the end if this year. I also got some of the vodka chocolates that I now LOVE because of this thread!! :rotfl:

thankyou for this. i finally got there and there were a few packets left, but i would never have known otherwise and would have skipped the aisle all together due to tight budget.

i'm really chuffed with having them at that price, though admittedly have only used one to addres jiffy envelope, i keep looking at T.V. furniture etc. wondering if i should try it out. the answer is no!!

Attention troops! They have more Dr. Who merchandise in!

I picked up this:

..it's a toiletry bag with a voice chip on the front - you press it and it says "exterminate, exterminate!" Inside there is a small black sponge in the shape of a Dalek, and a tube of Dr. who Bubble Bath, with a picture of a Dalek on too.

Too cute for words... and only £1.59. These are nearly £8.00 on Amazon.

I have bought one for a fortysomething who should know better but doesn't.... now I wish I had got two, he will have to fight it out with the twelve year old!

Castel Tiziano Pinot Grigio. 12% proof, very nice. On the interweb it's £9 a bottle to buy, £16 if you drink it in a restaurant....

Jsut bought 2 of these in the Oldham branch Today for my 2 little Dr.Who Fans.

Great buy they were £8 in boots last year.
