I went in the Rugeley store on Friday afternoon & they have changed the layout of the aisles.
It's horrible & I didn't enjoy shopping there at all, usually I really like going. They have basically removed the split halfway along the aisles and now you have to go to the far end of the store to choose an aisle. This made me feel a bit penned-in (I'm not claustrophobic) & the situation at the tills was a nightmare. You can't buy booze easily because there's a queue in front of it, I stood back to look at some while I was in the queue, turned around & someone had walked into the space I left. I waited in another queue (1 of 2) and they didn't call anyone else over for the other tills for over 5 minutes even though it was packed. The products have also moved aisles and other than the first corner & the toiletries it's confusing & doesn't make sense anymore.
Another thing that I don't like there is one of the attendants licks her thumb to open bags before handling my food, dental floss & toothpaste - etc.
It's turning from a nice little treasure trove into Davey Jones' locker.desrever sthgir lla0 -

You reaaaally wouldn't wanna know what happens to the money you handle then :rotfl: I used to work in a bank, and trust me, it's far worse (unless you wash your hands each and every time you touch money)

Most HBs are being changed round at the moment.
Christmas is coming and they are making way for stock.
Our local now has sun tan lotions next to the Halloween stuff which is opposite the Christmas decorations.0 -
My wife went into HB in Heanor, Derbyshire today and picked up 2 Visiglo light-up collars and 2 light-up leads for our German Shepherds. Each was £1.49. She had seen the same products on www.petplanet.co.uk for about 10 times that! This space has been intentionally left blank0

Pet hate of mine and yes one of the worst offenders is HB. I had a very surely assistant the other week who tried to pick a row and then went on to lick fingers before opening a bag. It was when swine flu was really rising and I turned to my DH after and said no wonder swine flu is ripping through the population!0
