Home bargains in Selby had manicure items at 10p, pkt emery boards, diamond nail files and pumice stone (thats not really a manicure, but they were all in together). Would make nice little extra's for stocking fillers or for the hampers people make.

I must have been wrong about the cost of the Eddie Stobart lorry I saw in Sheffield - they had them in Retford today for £15.99, not £19.99.

    Also:
Footprint wash powder, colours or whites, 49p
Woolworths bag of Christmas sweets, with either Santa or a penguin, £1.49, in date until well after Christmas this year (I think April 2010).
No Jamie Oliver sun-dried tomatoes, but a grinder containing rosemary, lavender and oregano salt for lamb (delicious) 59p
Lots of Tommy Tippee, including packs of 4 single-use sterile bottles, 99p
Case of Sharpies with (haven't yet worked out why) white plastic balls, 99p, RRP £3.99
Permanent marker, RRP something bonkers (£3-ish) for 39p
Angelina Ballerina colouring and sticker book set with crayons, 99p, marked at £3.99
Number dominoes to stick on the side of the bath 89p (RRP £3-ish)

Forgot to add they had the glue dots too.

Leeds is now open, a nice bright well laid out store - Felt weird walking around though when the last time I was in the unit was when Woolies was just about to close for the final time!

I would say slightly less lines than the Bradford store but they have only just opened so that can be expected, also think they've applied for an alcohol license but haven't got it yet.

Just bought a mini hairdryer for £2.99 Coulby Newham. Ive started to cycle to work and its great for when I get there to tidy up my hair - Im also going to take it to the gym. It about 4" big. So impressed went back and bought another two for daughters - to take in hand luggage if they go away.
