chemsley wood isnt near here however there is home bargains in northfield on the bristol road which is about 5 mins drive from Cadbury world, also one on the A34 at the Perry Barr One stop shopping centre or in harbourne.
    hope that helps!

Sunrise 27 - Chelmsley Wood is reasonably close to the NEC if you fancied a short bus ride.

I've seen a few posts about visiting Cadbury World. If you get offered a ticket to visit the Cadbury Staff Shop then take it - when I went the other day then had boxes of 48 creme eggs for £3 - somebody had set the 'best before' year to 2008 by accident so they can't sell them elsewhere. They've had the same problem with double deckers and to compound their problems had made a load of Fruit & Nut with hazelnuts by accident. Not a good day for them!

totally agree we went to the staff shop last time and it is sooooooooooooooo cheap , well worth a visit

There are some great wines at the moment in the Sheffield Parkway store
The Wolf Blass Riesling is delicious £3.99 and there is a Blossom Hill White, can't remember details which is in a tall bottle for £3.99 that is also a very tasty one
I also got some Butterkist Sweet popcorn for the microwave 99p for 4 sachets, I always make some and take it to the cinema, heck of a lot cheaper for a night out :)

I know this isn't about Home Bargains, but for any Huddersfield area people there's now a BM store beside Matalan, by the ring road.

    Very similar stock to HB.

Did anyone manage to get the `Focus` branded garden forks and spades, solid wood for just £1.99!!

My OH bought one of these trowels from Sheffield Hillsborough, but it broke the first time he used it. He did say that he was probably not using it for the purpose that it was intended for. I daren't ask what he'd been doing with it...
