About not liking the Shilpa Shetty perfume …that shows how different we all are! Because I chanced £1.99 on it, and absolutely loved it! It immediately reminded me of Chanel’s ‘Chance’…had perfect staying power and after the top notes had settled down I was still enjoying the muskier base notes several hours later.
I went back and bought 3 bottles more! This will be perfect for work wear. I am amazed, I have never bought a celebrity fragrance before and if you had told me before that I would enjoy one brought out on the back of a Big Brother contestant, I would have laughed!
But the joke’s on me! I did some research: FAB is only the name of the British importer. This fragrance is made by Robertet, which is the oldest perfumier based at Grasse in the South of France – the ‘capital’ of the world perfume industry.
And it has been in the top 5 of a table of ‘favourite celebrity perfumes’ – beating Sarah Jessica Parker’s ‘Lovely’ and Kylie Minogue’s ‘Darling’.
Shilpa Shetty S2 is a "semi amber floral" fragrance, and features notes of mandarin, bergamot, peach, cyclamen, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla and musk.
Apparently, HB also stock the Gift set for £2.99:

- and if I can find it, I’ll buy that too, because the ‘S’ around the neck is actually a phone charm studded with pink Swarovski crystals!

That keeps happening in our house too - and I keep buying more and they also disappear into thin air. Strange thing is, it only happens when I'm alone in the house0 -
