Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Hi, my nearest Home Bargains is 2 hours away and I'm hoping I will be able to have my first visit on Saturday! I'm interested in finding these craft kits (as well as a long list of other things!) however, I'm not going to have long. Can anyone tell me what these craft kits are - ie what they have in them, what they look like and where they are in the store? They sound as though they would make great gifts but more info would be really appreciated.

    Thankyou

Just had a look at mine (it's John Adams btw - I got it wrong!). The one I bought is 'plaster pots' - in a large rectangular box. All you need to make & decorate plaster of paris pots. Quite easy to do, good instructions - my 6 yr old managed well. Can't tell you where in store as I guess each one differs. Also worth bearing in mind that each store seems to have different stock - have fun shopping!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

  • Thanks so much for your help Mumto2 - I was a bit baffled when you said John Crane! I shall keep my eyes open for the kits to see if I can see any. I am really looking forward to my trip round Home Bargains and no doubt will come out with one or two bags too many!

    Thankyou

The stores I've seen them in, just put them with the toys or some even have a craft section
They seem to have very loose sections -
Best buys nearest the door, these change almost daily and you should check them 1st. The best deals go very quickly and there may only be one box of whatever it is.
Nearest them is usually toiletries / hair care / cosmetics / drugstore stuff
Following round to baby / stationery / books / cards / toys / tools / kitchen stuff / cleaning
Lastly is usually food stuffs with sweets and booze (if they have a licence) nearest the tills.

Thanks for this - I shall try and plan a route round the store now! I might have missed the stuff by the door in my excitement to get in so thanks for pointing out about the best buys!

Don't forget your re-usable bags HB lovers - I've been told in Cannock today that they're stopping giving out free carriers.

They have stopped in Boston too, fortunately I had some bags with me cos otherwise it'd have been about 4 of their long-life ones at 50p each
