Is it just me or does everyone else think HB are lacking in good buys this last week or so?
I went in on Thursday and couldn't find ANYTHING I wanted other than a few packs of biscuits and I only bought them because I have to buy something when I go in. I've never come out of a HB store with only biscuits before.

I like the sound of the Pirates Scene It game but they didn't have them in the Doncaster store when I went in on Thursday.
Couldn't agree more. Went in today and spent money on basics, nothing that really said "wow- bargain"
    Very sad...:(

Was in Cardiff store earlier this week, nothing special there so I set all the kitchen timers to go off at 1 minute intervals, took me ages there was 30+ there!

I bought a kitchen timer last week, and it doesnt work, so could be less annoying and noisy than you'd think!!!!

Bought a Little Tikes Build and Learn workshop today for £39.99 says RRP £99

For sale on amazon for £69.99 and other on-line stores £79.99, £169.99 at SBS educational (the one with the £7 ?playhouse error a few weeks ago!), seems to have a lot more parts than ELC workbench

My girls will be very pleased christmas morning
    How much ?????????!!!
  • I've not been in for over 2 weeks (ages for me).

Every time there's just been fewer things I want :(

Keeping fingers crossed in the run up to Christmas though.
    Looking forward to the future.

In my local branches it's been the same old stuff now for weeks and weeks. All I seem to buy now is a handful of the 10p Trident chewing gum and some of those packs of 10 'Paradise Bars' (Bounty copies), which I highly recommend.

Otherwise, HB are slacking IMO. I used to enjoy the fact there would always be exciting new stuff every visit!
