My local also had Olay Total Effects Touch Of Sunshine Night for £2.99! Had wanted to try this but thought the £18.99 was a little too much, so great bargain!

I have finally managed to get hold of the Spa Factory sets. Spoke to a really helpfull lady at the head office who arrange for 3 of the different sets to be sent to Thornaby for me. Got all 3 for £6. The kids will be very happy come Christmas.
  • anyone seen any hen party stuff lately?
  • Anyone seen any Thornton mis-shapes recently? None in the 2 stores I go to in the last 2-3 weeks. No spaces for them either! :(

I almost bought these today but they had a use by date of 09 2010 - not sure why cos its not edible but I guess its a bit like sun creams and stuff. Just inase anyone is giving as a gift and hasn't noticed - its a sticker on the back.

The nearest Home Bargains to my home is over 100 miles away so I get very jealous of everybody's bargains! However, as I will soon be on holiday in Gloucestershire I thought I would look at this thread as I am hoping to explore the Home Bargains in Stroud.

My daughter will soon be 9 and I wondered if the spa stuff might be something we could do at a girlie party for something a bit different. Can anyone tell me what is in the three different spa sets? The only thing I can find on Amazon is one with an oatmeal mask which I don't really fancy.

Has anyone seen these in the Stroud shop? Is the Stroud shop a good store and worth a visit?

Thanks for your help and happy bargain hunting :)

    Hi FunnyFreckle (great username!),
I have been to the Stroud store quite a few times as my Mum works in Stroud. We had someone else ask about the branch a while ago (see posts #4006 to #4010).
It's been about 6 weeks since I last went there, so couldn't tell you if they have the spa sets at the moment. They do have a lot of great pampering bits very cheap, though. Hope you enjoy your shopping trip.
Where abouts in Gloucestershire are you holidaying?

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A
  • Ruth_honey - thanks so much for your help. I have just read your earlier posts too which were really helpful - I shall scribble down all the details :). I shall definitely try and head over to the store and see if I can sneak off for an hour or so!

If anybody else knows what the spa sets are like I'd still love to know.

    Thankyou :)
