I know I don't have a HB near me yet! but I love reading about all the bargains all you lucky shoppers are getting.

I find it hard to believe nobody has posted any threads on here for five days now:confused:?

I have been away for a week and so went in today to get over my Home Bargain withdrawl symptoms. Lol

Store had loads of "Born to Shop" stuff - Apron, 2 pack of Teatowels, Oven Gloves, and mugs like pic below all for £1.49 each.

Store had Sweet Chilli sauce for 29p, and Hellmans light squirty mayo for 99p (which sadly I paid £1.89 for last night in Asda!) and as lovely stocking fillers I got a load of Shaun the Sheep magic facecloths for 39p each.
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

    Hiya

Well I managed to persuade my mum and aunt to go to the rutherglen store today as we went into glasgow first. I was like come on you know you want to lol.

I got the turtle gift pack for £5 which is great some crisps a red devil halloween outfit for my wee boy £2.99 and some biscuits.

I let my wee boy out of the pram as he gets really fed up stuck in there all day out shopping. He had a ball wandering round the shop he was so good.
Went to the little cafe for our lunch too :D Thanks for the recommendation it was lovely.

Also managed to pop into boots and get some of the right guard on offer 6 for the price of 1 so all in all a good day

    thanks again :D

Glad you got over to Rutherglen for a change, I've been too busy so am missing all the bargains! I keep forgetting about Boots on the corner, I usually just go to HB.

Glad you liked the cafe, food is ok in there and the staff are nice. Nice to get a wee breather after doing some shopping. I really must get up to HB this week, I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms! Urge to shop...can't resist.

Thanks for that, I was starting to think there was something wrong with my computer?

But saying that I have been reading this thread for some time now but don't think it's been as long as a year .... but I could be wrong - you know what they say "time flies when you're having fun":rotfl::rotfl:
  • Anybody seen any adult-playable (ie scrabble, not 'thomas the tank something or other' :D ) board games?
  • I have been away but visited Blackpools HB. DH brought a tie & cufflinks set for £1.99 RRP £10. Also made my first visit to B&M's there aren't any around us.
