today i got reduced botanics quenching face mask£2.50 and firming body gel 2.42 picked up 2 free wipes so i thought.when i checked(why are the receipts so complicated,or is it just me!)looks like charged for 1wipes,got one free and charged for the 2 items(got other bits too)is this right?
also got 3 reduced ts root touch ups£1.75(not as cheap as some i know)and 3 free long hair stuff from mag(did all seperately) rainbow palette £2:j

I was thinking (dangerous!) but maybe the body gel isn't part of the offer? I know the body butter isn't as it's something I buy regularly for DD1 and his dry skin and that part of the range is not included this time around - wel, at least according to the SELs

Managed a good shop in Boots Dover yesterday (Im branching out lol). Anyways I got:

Reduced Botanics Moisturising Mask from clearance - last one - £1.25
    Free botanics wipes
Smile Toothpaste BOGOF so £1.79 for two
Time delay wipes - £3.99 (used mag voucher so 200 points back)

    £7.03 and 216 points back

Went back and got the last pack of time delay wipes and used another mag coupon. So £3.99 with 200 points back.

They had rainbow eye pallettes for £2 which I didnt buy ( stood there for ages thinking will I wont I, wish I had, lol) but I did buy a No.7 gift set reduced. Was in a little pink, white and orange patterned box, Reduced to £6.50 with full size nail varnish, lipstick and then mini's of P&P, tinted moisturiser, hand cream and a mascara.

Used points gained to buy nappies (OMG!!!! I used points, lol)

    xx

I imagine the firming body gel is not from the body range, but from the bathing range instead. There is 3for2 on the bathing range, and you don't get free wipes with it.

I bought a (reduced) body souffle last week where the wipes wouldn't go through free, and this is what they said. I did check on the labels and the above is true. It's just a bit hard to see what is body and what is bathing!

I thought that too, but it's included in the free wipes offer on .com.

    Clinique Lip liner £12
    Clinique Eye pencil £11
    Lovely Clinique GWP
2 x MF mascaras £6.99 each (yes I know not £15, paid at Clinique desk)
MF GWPs, both the summer sun and vanity case with the vouchers I wanted

does this mean they scan free................................... 6.99 x2 =13.98 thought you needed a 18 spend to get this?

Hang on, are we saying that you don't need to spend a set amount to get the MF GWP? And that you can get BOTH???!!!! This sounds too good to be true....

Wonder then if the SA didn't scan the product barcode, but put it through on a generic clearance code as then the till wouldn't know.

I bought some Lillets for 20p each yesterday in my tiny tiny local Boots which were on clearance and they just came up on the receipt as Personal Care.

They also had Lynx3 on the shelf, but with no signs - no wonder they were still there. The SA commented on what a bargain they were and that she had bought some to put away for Christmas, in the kind of way that suggested she had already abused the offer :rotfl:

Bought 2 Garnier peels - because they were there :D and a pack of Boots black socks from £5.50 to £2.50 and a couple of packs of DIY postcard laminates for 63p each. Had wondered if they were included in the BOGOF but it would appear not.

Most amazing of all, I bought the above with POINTS - and the SA said "I've never seen a card with so many points on before!!) and I know my card is far from the biggest total on this group:rotfl:

I think that's what it says in my Boots too. To Mrscb, I would print out the online page that says you get free wipes with the gel, then go to the store and read the sign about free wipes before going for a refund. Because if the sign just says face, the SA will probably tell you that offers online and in store differ and will ignore the printout. But if it says face and body, I'd go try to get my money back. Either way, I'd get a refund and let them keep it if it's not free!
