Hi there! The only store that's a decent size is the main one in the pedestrianised High Street. It is pretty rubbish on clearance (though OK during 'proper sales'). No7 SAs not bad - one very smiley nice young woman - perfume and Clarins also pleasant, but on the main tills it's hit and miss. I have had staff refuse to try vouchers, and on one occasion was virtually accused of lying when I told them an item was reduced in another town.

There's no Clinique counter, and no Ruby and Millie. Although it's reasonably big, it doesn't feel like a Big Boots, if you see what I mean.

oooh eck, don't want narky SA :rotfl: I was just thinking about trying out a new boots in a different town but the nearest ones to me are Lincoln or Hull. But wanted one with good clearance because my store is useless for it. Thank you wendy :)

Has anyone got any ideas on Hull?

I got a bit excited as i found the garnier peel kits and lynx today. Got a few other bits and bobs plus 2 ts long hair products and needed to use a few vouchers so wipped them out. The sa was not impress that the lynx and garnier had gone though as offers and nearly called the line manager but i kept her talking and she didn't bother so i distracted us both because i only gave her one ts voucher instead of 2 so it ment i paid for 1. Tried to get them to take the other voucher but they said no so i had a full refund as nearly £5 in my pocket is better than a free product. Thank goodness it was the mag voucher i have now had to lose out on not the pc one but there wasn't any mags in the store to try it later.

i got 1 of these today on the normal baby shelf £9.99 reduced to £2.50:j

our store doesn't have a clearance so things that are reduced are on normal shelves. I went 2 the baby bit just on the off chance of getting the 88p 750ml johnsons shampoo that i saw sold out in a different store but it was full price and i couldn't believe my luck when i saw this. So the sell said £9.99 reduced to £2.50. I think it's a great buy and i paid with pts

Being very brave and actually keep spending my points although i could do with building them back up again lol They don't sell the jk range near me so that one is out.:(
