Yes - because it's a brand (i.e. non store specific) as opposed to a Boots coupon that you would expect to beep if you had not got the product.

well never knew that you can do that at boots:T , everydays a school day;)

I don't think it's their policy to accept coupons for products you haven't bought, but if it happens accidentally and the SA doesn't look closely enough, or doesn't count that you've used 4 coupons for 3 products.... it happens :)

It works, but it's not a good idea to try it on purpose. Boots isn't like Tesco (Tesco has a policy that they take coupons on stuff you don't buy - even if not all tesco employees honor it, though I don't shop in store at Tesco so don't know firsthand how it works). But Boots doesn't do that, you have to buy the product -- you just got an inattentive SA. If you start doing it on purpose you may get in an embarrassing situation and also make the SAs start scrutinizing all coupons a lot closer.

:hello: :hello: :hello: Hello KrispiiDuck! Nice to see fellow LCCer!

Happy Birthday Bebebelle (hope I'm spelling these right!)

I went to Boots yesterday and got the No7 Radiance Concealer Pen for 300 points and £2.75.

I had a £5 Boots voucher from completing surveys
I had a £5 Boots of No 7 voucher - free from buying nappies
I had 300 points when you buy No 7 Radiance concealer pen!

The No 7 lady has suddenly become very friendly to me! Even asked if I had dark bags under my eyes, and I said, hell yes with a 9 month old baby!

The time delay 200 points with the free skincare voucher didn't work for my stepdaughter, and I told her to give the 200 points first, then product, then skincare voucher, but she was told because she was getting it for free, she didn't qualify for points.
I was trying to boost her AC card so she could get some makeup. bought her the £3.99 dazzle eyeshadow instead.

I've got scraps of paper/lists up the ying yang here and I spent a whole day bootsing yesterday :o

Definately agree it's best to get one Mitcham per shop so that they don't get arsey - sent hubby for 3 yesterday and the Sa put them all through separately

Got the Autumn pallett on my list for today - just a bit scared of the bold colours

    Vouchers come from:
-Boots Health and Beauty Magazine (free to Boots card holders)
-Account Card Machines (ACMs) in stores
-"Till spits" given to you by a sales assistant (SA) if you meet the minimum spend, which is 5 pounds right now for TWO great vouchers
-Joining health club on the Boots Web site and Parenting Club -- they send out vouchers periodically
-some printable vouchers -- links to the Mitchum ones everyone is talking about can be found in the first page of this thread, as can all kinds of tips on deals and glitchs, thanks to crazyposhgal who updates the info

    hth :)
