    I am WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIRD!!!

I have an "issue" with nail files and emery boards - You know how some people go all funny and wobbly about running their nails down a blackboard or when someone clicks or pops their joints ...well I have that problem with nail files...just dragging the file across my nails makes me go all weird and wanting to fling the file across the room...

I want to boost my points by getting some JK nail files...but there's no point if the files are going to hang around never being used

I'd put them in baskets but I'm not doing those this Christmas as I'm doing photographic themed presents instead.

(And no decent stuff on Clearance in any of the three Boots stores in Cambridge at the moment...still waiting for the bronzing/rainbow palettes cluttering up Clearance in Cambridge Petty Cury to be reduced further...to share of course :D)

Why not get the JK wipes then? They are in a small pack for £3 with 500 points back every 2. More use to me than the nail files, so stocked up on them.

Ha-ha! My boyfriend has the weird nail file thing as well - can't bear to watch me even use them! I have the same issues with Cotton Wool - euuuugh!

Guess we're all odd in our own little ways!

    :rotfl:

DD1 freaks out over cotton wool too.

Personally I have issues with the stringy bits on bananas...

I am exactly the same,I never file my nails. When I was little I once said to my Mum "Stop Mummy! that makes my blood stand on end!" I still feel like that now!!!!!

If anyone has a couple of nail files going spare I could add them to my Hampers for the Breast Unit .(haven't found any in my nearest Boots!)
    :j I love bargains:j

Just got a text...seems expert baby is 1/2 price clearance in 3 local stores, so should be nationwide?

Friend then used expert PC and believes it took off half of ORIGINAL amount(ie: till owes you a penny), but is not bloomin sure as she says the reciept is confusing her as she bought loads of stuff!

Will try get her to scan and send a reciept later so I can check it out, but may be worth a bash if you are in a shop with it on clearance today?

Didn't realise that I could get those....might have to think about that, thank you :)

    Right I'm back.
Got some strange looks from the SA's as I wandered around inspecting all of the offer signs and making notes :p hopefully they will think I'm a mystery shopper and will be extra nice to me tee hee :rotfl:
Anyways here are my findings :p

    2 for £5 botanics haircare- 12/08/2008
    2 for £4 lynx- 12/08/2008
2 for £6 garnier pure- no signs up for this at all so don't know. However the 2 for £5 on clean and clear and also on the witch hazel stuff both ends on 12/08, so I would expect the garnier pure also to end on 12/08- just don't know for sure.
500pts on jk etc- no signs on this at all but have checked in the mag and it is on til 23/09/2008
bogof no7 sun-all of the suns up for this said the offer ends on 25/03  looks like they just re-used the signs again instead of having new ones! Checked every sign on all of the shelves/isles and all the signs were old
    gwp no7- 12/08/2008

Hope that is of some use and sorry I couldn't be of more help :o

Can someone be a complete love if they are bootsing this afternoon?

I am waiting in for a sparky as only power sockets work and not lights (he had the cheek to ask if I'd checked the fuse box  )...although am I glad it is not the other way :rotfl: , so doubt I'll get out and need to do a quick list for tommorow as literally will have 10 mins to shop if i'm lucky and it is not for me, so can someone check for me the expiry dates on these offers pretty please? Can't remember what ones are 5th or 12th

    2 for £5 botanics haircare
    2 for £4 lynx
    2 for £6 garnier pure

I had written the dates down ages ago, but have bloomin recycled the paper as thought it was in my head, but I keep forgetting that post baby you forget everything, including that you forget everything!

Hope he fixes as last night I had to cook my dinner by torch light when little fella was in bed :rotfl: and to think...I really was not impressed that my mum gave me a strap on head light when I visited her :rotfl: seems she is not that daft after all :D

    Hi all.

Not been on here for ages as saving money to pay off debts and Boots was costing me a lot of money.

    Anyway, not sure if this has been posted (I checked first page and there was no mention) but when I popped into St. Albans today to pick up some baby milk they had a 50% off toy sale and some baby items. It wasn't on all the toys but some really good bargains to be had. I got;

    Fifi bath squirters: £2
Fisher Price Amazing Animals Horse Set: £6.50
Fisher Price Amazing Animals Monkey Set £6.50
Tomy Winnie the Pooh moonlight dreamshow £10
Boots Step by Step Puzzles £1.50

As I'm money saving I didn't use my hard earned cash I used my hard earned points instead. However, these are gifts for my daughter and niece for Christmas. :j

    Hope it help someone

Your brill thank you for that :)
Hmmmm, I know those strange looks well :rotfl: what with writing things down, always being in store and the fact that some of the SA's have sussed I 'know' their ASM well, they all seem to be 'frightened' of me :o
