Only had a couple of mins to spare but popped into Boots to try out the Mitchums, got 3 of em, @ £1.65 and thats what the till saw also, (£4.95) not full price. Nice SA had to put all three codes of the 50% off coupon in manualy so I didnt say anything when I had to pay only 45p but didnt get the disired till spit or voucher. Being cheeky, I then went back with 4, told her I wanted it to be over £5 as I wanted the No. 7 voucher and was sorry. She said no problem. Paid 60p for the 4 and got both spit and voucher. I got a reduced mascara from No. 7 for the £5 one and TD wipes free with the other one. 9 items for £1.05 and 200 points I LOVE BOOTS XXXX
  • Assuming she said NO ;) Do you mean get the usual items to get GWP but pay with pts instead of money? If so, as you can see above, my OH had no problem getting the NC washbag free with the NC case and he used pts to pay. Am sure others have used pts to get No7 stuff and got GWP with it in the past?

    Sorry NP meant no problem.

    xx

Im off on an appointment in Canterbury tomorrow and will be dragging a friend of mine (who gets awfully confused when I go into Boots and can never work out how I get so much for so little, despite me trying to explain umpteen times) with me. Only just talked her into getting a Boots card. Before that she bought all her meds and stuff in there and her special shampoos and never got points!!!!! Mad or what!!! Mind you I was the same until I started reading this thread, lol. My question is, because I will be going to Wincheap. Do they have any of the rainbow pallettes in there, does anyone know, really I want the bronzing one also. If anyone has seen them, let me know the price please. I dont want to go into the City Centre despite being able to get JK files, as I wont have lots of time to play with. Just will be getting more nappies so will get till spit and voucher for No.7 so want to get hold of a pallette if I can.

    xx

i am such a bad mummy i woke him up and went! well he shoukdn't be sleeping at this time any way.

so it worked sort off lol. There wasn't any of the £2.79 mitchums so i got 2x £2.65 got a few clearance things. in total i paid £2.57 and got the till split but not the no 7 voucher. op did you get both? i could hardly say you haven't given me one as i hadn't spent the £5 anyway i assume the till tells her to give me one or not and it couldn't have. The vouchers didn't scan and had to be put in manually.

OK sorry if this has already been posted, but I'm a lil excited that I may have found my first glitch :j :j :j Went to Boots today, but just got what I needed to get vouchers, checked ACM and came home, so that I could really think about what I had ;)

Anyway was wondering if this would work

2x P&P No 7 lip and eye sun care BOGOF £5.75

Use £5.00 No 7 voucher (from till)
500 points wyb 2 No 7 P&P products (from ACM)

So spending £0.75 and getting 500 points back??????????
    Started comping 29/10/2010

WINS: 29/10 - bag of Skittles :T, Max Factor make up :j

Restarted Comping June 2011 - June wins: Cushelle Koala, Starbucks book and £5 card

Can i ask a question does suncare count as skincare? IYSWIM

I tried to use the 500 points with any two protect and perfect from the ACM and it refused it for me. So Im guessing no. SA said it was because it was suncare, even though it was facial suncare and protect and perfect at that. Might try it with four products though and see if that works if I have any money left before this till split, no.7 and ACM voucher stops, lol.

    Re the Mitchum :-

    Could you do :-

    Buy 2 (the £2.79 ones)
Hand over *2 50% off vouchers and only need to spend 58p to get the till spits????

is this right?? or am I just confused (again!!)
yes that's right i should have done that instead of using the 50 % and £1
I will just have to go back again tomorrow lol.

  • I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before but earlier today I went to Boots and the Mitchum sprays (150mls as opposed to the 100mls roll-ons) are on offer at £1.09 each (reduced by £1 from £2.09) and I bought 2 and used the £1 voucher for each of them and paid 18p for both. :j
