Yes, I think that is what people are doing, buying the £12.50 brushes, as it takes it over the £30 spend, that is the way the till sees it, then hand over your coupon.

I saw these brushes in the Boots at Baker Street. When you come out of the far entrance, turn right, Boots is right there.

But this store does not have any other bargains, lots and lots of healthcare items but nothing worth bootsing for. Just the toothbrushes, not even Lynx 3 packs...:(

Thanks.:D:D:D Are you talking about the boots near Baker St station - or the one on the top of Baker St near the cinema? I'm going tomorrow now. LC

  • Prob because of last times £5 off TD till spit = Free wipes/handcream/toner/exfoliator etc that's now happening again as of tomorrow! But now can combine with 200 points H&B voucher too! YAY!
Don't think I was around for the last TD glitch, so could someone with lots of patience :o tell me how it becomes free?

Called at Boots earlier and got

No 7 Anti aging anti dark spot facial sun protection 10.50
No 7 Tan Maintainer 10.00 but free due to BOGOF
    GWP
    :j

When I passed over the 2 products, first of all the SA asked me if I would like to find another product to qualify for the GWP. I said I thought I already had and could she please try scanning it, so she did and was a little surprised. Not as much as when I then handed over the PC voucher to take the total to pay down to £5.50 and then produced the 500 points wyb any No 7 facial sun protection. ;)
    £5.50 + 500 points back...now that's the kind of deal I like!

After that I picked up 2 JK nail files and a pair of black slouch socks reduced from £6 to 75p! Used 100 ACM wyb any Boots hosiery and also got the 500 bonus points for buying 2 Jemma Kidd items.

    No 7
While I was at the No 7 counter I was asking about the new GWP. They were not sure when it was but they seemed to think it was a wash bag with a fair few items in. The lovely SA's then showed me a new eyeshadow palette they were looking at. It had really vibrant colours in, an emerald green, a purply colour, gold and I think one more but cannot remember it, although it could have been just the 3 colours.
There are also some new eye gels (think that's what they called them) which looked like little pots of vibrant colour which, when applied with the eyeshadow, looked beautiful. The SA drew a line on her hand with the emerald eye gel pencil thingy and when she applied some of the eyeshadow over it, the eye pencil seemed to glow- really lovely effect. (Think the amazing eye pencil effect only green not turquoise)
Think they were going to retail at around £10 each and there was also some lip/cheek colours, 3 different shades, one very neutral and two more tinted shades. Not sure how much they are going to be.
Almost wish I'd kept hold of my £5 off PC voucher. LOL Still Im sure there will be ACM offers/mailings to get us all huddled around the No 7 counter once more....Mr Boots knows what he is doing! ;):D

    Hi

Yes the one near Baker St station, I didn't even have TIME to check out the other 2 Boots, the one at the top of Baker Street and the one on Marylebone Road.

I had to make sure I got the train before the commuters, otherwise DS and I wouldn't have been able to get on and would have been nightmare journey using underground.

    Happy shopping!

    Hi,
It's really no glitch. So far with these tillspits, you spend £5 get a voucher for £5 off time delay, and because the hand cream, the toner, cleaser and wipes are all £5 or less you can get them for free with the till spit.

Sure JELLYBABY. £5 off any skincare item mentioned on till spit. One of which happens to be Time Delay, so anything £5 and under will be free when 'bought' with just the tillspit :T

HTH hun, this is a blinding one, great for stocking up ;)

I don't want to raise anyone's hopes but...
I overheard a No 7 SA saying she was going back into work at 6.30 to help set up for a sale tomorrow...but I may have misheard. There were a lot of staff in the branch doing ab nothing at 5pm. I wonder if she just meant the new No 7 display???But why would you go back in at 6.30? I'm almost tempted to drive by later just to have a peek. Is there normally a sale on at this time?

    CSINaina on the case!

Just rung The Sun newspaper and a lovely young lady gave me the number for the Kettering office who are sending out the Sun Boots vouchers.

The Kettering office told me they are sending out the vouchers from next week and they don't know the expiry date but there will be plenty of time on the vouchers to be able to use them.

They haven't seen the voucher booklet yet, I believe.
    Well done CSINaina...good work:p
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

    I want one!!!

    Image048Small.jpg

Someone (you know who you are!!) "talked" me into popping into Boots on the way home tonight and there they were. I wasn't brave enough to try and blag one tho!

Also saw some POS showing 342 on No7 from 13/08/08 - kind of hidden behind the smallest no7 counter in the world

    Oooooooooooooooh I don't know what's in it but I want one! :p

Also I can see new P&P hand cream on that pic too, I would be very interested in finding out more about that! I love P&P :D
