The offer is in-store. There was a poster in my local store advertising it.
Think this thread will be moved to the Argos board tho
    Be nice
  • The free MP3 player is the same as the free MP3 player offer on the Nokia 3220.

The Item is ideal as a free gift.

The headphones look good but are disappointing with poor audio quality.
Tried my MP3 player with the Daughters Ipod H/P and the sound quality vastly improved.

I bought a 1gb mp3 player with FM radio ,just like the one mentioned ,from EBAY for £38 including all post and packing. It came from china but it came in a week and it is perfect. So why go for the one from Argos??

I agree that it is a saving buying from Ebay but a friend of mine has twice bought MP3 players from there and they both have broken within a few months.
At least at Argos you get a 12 month garentee.

Whats the sound quality like with these? I know nothing about MP3 players but my other half wants one. Is this a good buy?

I have actually bought 3 MP3 devices in the last year from china and all these players give superb sound. The headphones with them are never that brilliant,so it is best to replace them.

I have got one and compared to a normal walkman/cd player it is fab.

I havn't compared it to a ipod so not sure if that has a better sound quality.

I reakon for what it is, it is a good price ,easy to use and like I said earlier has a 12 month garentee.

Its not really a bargain IMO, Dixons/Currys/PC World are selling a 512mb player for £29.99 Product Code - 583865 and the 128mb player is £14.99 Product Code - 125699

Also see the other thread on Tchibo having a 1gb one for £49.99 with a further £3 off using a voucher.
