I already bought national geographic as a gift for my Dad but this gift finder was pretty cool helped me pick out something for my mum. http://www.magazine.co.uk/gift_finder not sure she'll appreciate being called crafty grandma though :-)“Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.” – Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory0

Hey I was just wondering if anyone had used the website magazineboutique for subscriptions? They seemed pretty good, but I'm a bit scared to try them and have to give my bank details?

Do you mean this site?
http://www.magazineboutique.co.uk/store/custompage.asp?customid=349
This is the magazine publisher Conde Nast's own site.
I've bought loads of subscriptions through it, both for myself and as presents and have never had a problem.0 -
I'm trying to take advantage of Great Magazine's 3 for £1 as per Martin's email today, but when you go to checkout their website has some kind of programming error and you can't continue.
I will keep trying but it's a real pain.I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.0 -
I'm thinking of subscribing to Gardeners World using my Tesco club card points. I think its £14ish. Are there any better offers than this?
Does anyone know if I'll still get the free gifts, seeds etc that they sometimes have with the magazine?

Are you using a direct link? Many sites don't like links from this site for some reason, try manually typing it in, going to the website (again via typing it in) and then searching or looking through google, you may have more chance of getting somewhere.0 -
3 for £1 experience with isubscribe.co.uk
I've bought a 3 for £1 deal on another subscription site, and they clearly stated on the magazine page that the 3 issues were a trial period. I checked their T&Cs and they didn't say that all subscriptions are for a minimum of 12 months.
However, on isubscribe.co.uk the T&Cs say in bold at the bottom that all subscriptions are for 12 months.
Has anyone ever done a 3 for £1 (or similar offer) with isubscribe and been able to cancel the DD after those issues without further problems?I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I have always just cancelled the direct debit without any further correspondence. I have done this over the last 5 years or so. hth0
