we are planning to buy our just turned 9 year old twin boys a trampoline for christmas, and would appreciate some advice , we where thinking about one with a safety net round it, would a 12' one be big enough?
I have looked at some sites , so would like some help, obviously the best value for our money would be best, but would like a good quality one.
thanks for any help.

I would thoroughly recommend a trampoline and net. Especially at Xmas when you need to bounce to keep warm!
I bought mine from Makro (body sculpture) with a net from sport-e part of Littlewoods. All in all about £175 (last Summer). Do not go for anything smaller than 12", mine is 13" and is big enough for OH and I!! Sport E have stopped 13ft as far as I know, but you won't notice any difference with 12ft. Check out other threads for vouchers too.
Try http://www.sport-e.com/rf/navigation/usersearch.do?Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nu=this_product&Np=1&Nty=1&Ntk=littlewoods_search&Ntt=trampoline albeit I do not know if they are still the cheapest. It may be worth looking in the shopbots.0 -
Hi windym
probably already got it but you can get a 12" trampoline for about £80 from choice catalogue online with a 20% discount as firsttime buyer
The safety net is from littlewoods is £51.99 inc del if you use the voucher codes doing the rounds at the mo.
Pm if you or anyone else needs the code etc

We've had a round one and now we've got a traditional rectangular one.
We found the kids had more accidents with the round ones. The nets made them feel that they didnt have to be careful on it.
The rectangular one doesnt have nets with it, so they only go on it one at a time mostly. Now they are more experienced they can do more moves on a rectangular one.
I took mine to a local club for about 5 or 6 lessons. The kids loved it as they were trussed to a harness. The tutor showed them how to be safe on it.
Incidentally, the trampoline we got was 3 weeks old. The previous owners kid broke his arm on it on the first day !!
Be careful !
