Hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Basically I'm wanting a subscription of Lonely Planet magazine.

In the latest magazine they have a free gift with subscription.

I've been through magazine subscriptions and see I can get 5 issues of Lonely Planet magazine for £5 then can continue the subscription at the normal rate. Will I get the free gift with this?

Anyone know any other deals on this?

    TIA

Best place to put it (not sure if it makes any difference though tbh) is the thread below this one saying "discussion only" just cos this one says "offers only" and maybe more people come to here to check rather then to advise?

RE: The free gift- generally when you order a sub with an offer, it has a code, you get the sub at that price and the gift or if you see a different offer with a different code, you'd get that sub and that offer and/or gift- you can't mix them up and get the gift from one sub with the price of another sub, (sadly!) though theres no harm in calling up and asking/begging them to- they can only say no! Hope that naswers your question.

Not seen any offers myself though- have you tried flicking through a mag in WHS and seeing what the leaflet/sub pages offer? (sorry if I'm being obvious, I can't think where else to look!)

    Grazia mag (out every tuesday)

Its £1 this week (save 95p) and has a voucher inside to save 95p on next weeks mag.

Also- a voucher for you and a friend, buy-one-get-one-free treatments, at Nails Inc.
The cheapest treatment (or whatever you call mani/pedi-cures!) is free. It doesn't say if you can use the voucher for one person and say get both a mani and pedi done and get the cheapest free which would be a good idea if your friends aren't into nails. If anyone manages this, please report back!

Next weeks mag promises a voucher for a bottle of shower gel worth £7 from L'Occitane (looks travel sized).

Just incase anyone has missed it, there is a free copy of the April issue of Marie Claire on atm.

    Call 0845 357 7015 and quote code 113A.

They then offer you 3 issues for £1 following that (so could say it works out to 4 issues for £1 which makes the mag 25p a copy!) which can be cancelled at any time within that period otherwise an automatic subscription of £9.99 for 6 issues. To cancel call up the number above which can be done at any time (i.e no 12 month minimum sub here).

Worth it at this price me thinks, even if there are no monthly freebies with the mags!

EDIT: Can anyone confirm if MagSite is reliable? Heardsomewhere that they arent the sort of people to give Debit Card details to...
  • https://www.magsite.co.uk is an affiliate type website, so they don't record or process your order, when you click on a link, you are taken to the particular shop selling the item,
