Yes cosmo offer has gone now - the best I can find is £24.99 for one year + gift wrapped issue.

If you have Tesco clubcard vouchers you can get a year's sub for £8's worth. Can't find any other offers at the moment.

It depends what you mean by a gift...

The 3 for £1 offers will all be Direct Debits which will increase in cost after the 3 trial issues. If you plan to give a full years subscription as a gift it is often much more cost effective to take out a full year subscription by credit card.

Having said that there is no reason why you couldn't give a trial subscription as a gift, and if you were to use sites like magazine-group / isubscribe / gift-subscriptions then you can often get an e-card to send to the recipient.
