  • not when its a year out of date. Fm2006 is the current version
  • Curry Queen, its extremely likely he asked you for the latest version, which is Football Manager 2006. Football Manager 2005 isn't even worth it at £4.99. Now, do I stay till 4am for the next one..? Hm.

I've just looked in his bedroom and spotted Championship Manager and Total Club Manager games, so I'm not even sure this is one he actually wants, although knowing him he'd play anything to do with footie ;)

  • Curry Queen, Championship manager used to be the best football managment game, but the same game now goes by the name Football Manager, due to some kind of issues. Football Manager is the generally accepted superior game, so I'd imagine he wanted that. Maybe its best to casually ask again though. But I'm sure FM 2006 wouldn't dissapoint!

gmw82, I've no idea what the next offer will be, but I hope its either a cheap DS, a cheap GBA:SP, a very cheap PSP, or Battlefield 2 for PC, cheap. Or even a cheap GameCube. I won't bother waiting for the 5am one, though.

Just sneaked back in to check what he has actually got and found some more! Seems amongst this year's titles he's also got Fifa Football 2005 and Premier Manager 2005/2006, as well as Championship Manager 5 (latest one I think) so is this Football Manager 2005 the one after that?

I don't know whether to wait for the new 2006 one or risk a fiver on this one and hope he wanted it! Couldn't spot that one anywhere in his room though ;)

  • Football Manager 2006 is out now, I believe it came out last Friday. Or maybe the Friday before. I doubt it'll be part of this game sale, being only a week or two old, and also since they've now listed 2005.

As I said, I highly doubt he'd ask for Football Manager 2005 now since its been out for a year. Game has only sold three copies of the game at £4.99 and a quick look on eBay uk suggests its going at well less than £5. I'm almost certain he'd rather have Football Manager 2006 than 2005. I see it's £24.99 at Play.com but maybe you could find it cheaper.

Crap deal I'm sure we sell it for less at work, although I dont have an Xbox, I'd have to check.

Fahrenhiet is the only good deal so far.
