Tesco are doing free postage on book orders over £20, plus there is a code for £5 off a £30 book spend
XX-4LCJ
Also they are doing double Clubcard points right now.0 -
The Book People are also very good.
Havn't checked out the webpage lately but they usually have free p&p for orders over £25 and a points scheme, where you can redeem your "loyalty" points for books etc
https://www.thebookpeople.co.uk
p.s they also have a "bookends" section, which is a clearance section. Bought kids books -excellent hardback quality -for 1.99 in the past0 -
If you are looking for recently published books and aren't in a hurry I would recommend BOL (typically 60% off). Although you would need to order now to be sure of xmas delivery - no matter what the website says!0

for cheap books with no postage (over £5 worth of order) try:
http://www.compman.co.uk/
They do not only offer computer books but also many others, including the latest ones cheaper than high street bookshops.0 -
jema,
You could also go through http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/retailers.php?cat=0
(registration required) where if you ordered from Amazon, bol or Tesco you will get some cash back in addition to their discounts.
