Do you ever have the feeling that you are SURE you are going to win something today...

Lots of junk in email but no WEM's

Doorbell rang 3 times this morning in the space of 1/2hr

1st - Postman...had to sign for something....:j how exciting.........Grrrr it was something my partner had ordered :mad:

2nd - neighbour just wanting to ask me how I was before she went out ... very nice of her (:mad: )

3rd - my order of Organic fruit and veg from Abel & Cole...which always comes on Monday but I had forgotten it's Monday 'cus I'm in the house so much at the moment that every day is much the same.:o

Ah well..there's always tomorrow

PS ...after I wrote this I suddenly remembered I had put something in the oven for lunch...Yep you guessed it...half of it is burnt !!!...hmmm not my day it seems. I need to get off this computer!

PPs 2.15pm update...doorbell has just gone again....this time some dodgy looking geezer asking me if I wanted my drive tarmaced @$£#%$ was the answer!

Must remember I have pooter man coming at 3pm.... so I don't get hopes raised again!

Then another one from Elliots warehouse .. telling me about a new competition :rotfl:

I am getting ready to strangle our postie as he hasnt fetched me anything decent in ages and its not through lack of entering:rolleyes: I think he's getting frightened of me cos I hunt him down sometimes in the village to get my post and look at him angrily if he brings me no post or just junk:rolleyes: Anyway just checked my google account to discover I have won on the frosty jacks competition:Dwell my mum won I entered every day in mine and mums name and it was my mum that won:rolleyes:

I know the feeling,its been made worse by a very long spell with no prizes. I live in a flat and am always dissapointed when the delivery man walks pass my door.:sad:

I've been doing comps for years (15+) and only had about 6 wins in all that time. I guess that some people are born lucky, sadly not me! BUT with each win it lifts me enough to keep going! Just remember if you're not in it you can't win it!! Good luck to all.

The doorbell went at 9am this morning. Way too early for out postman, so I surmised that it had to be parcel post with a huge parcel for me. How wrong could I be? It turns out that it was the man to come and clean the gutters!
