Black Country Living Museum 2 for 1

I've just registered to share with everyone a printable voucher I've found which gives 2 for 1 entry ("when accompanied by another person paying the equal or higher admission charge") at the Black Country Living Museum. The voucher is valid until 7th September 2008 and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

The web address is: http://www.visittheheart.co.uk/newdetail.aspx?id=2e54e5e9-efaf-4875-93e2-b6be617ce0ee&County=2&group=70&sector=70&category=131

Alternatively, go to the website and view "special offers" section for more discounts and vouchers.

I hope some one can make use of it in the summer holidays!

Thanks, I have included a link to this on my website that is for working mums in Worcester, fairly near to the Black Country Museum. I am sure they will really appreciate it!

Can you do the gift aid with these vouchers? so you can get free entry for a year.

Yes you can. Anyone paying the full entrance fee (who is a tax payer that agreed to Gift Aid) gets FREE entrance for 1 year. If you used a voucher to get someone in for free then they WONT qualify.

Also be prepared: I dont think these places like you using the vouchers what with them being a registered charity. The lady behind the desk sighed when I pulled out the 2for1 voucher. I noticed the family that was being served on the desk next to us (2 adults and 2 children) who paid full price got a much warmer welcome. Maybe we just got an unhappy-to-be-working-on-a-Sunday person ?!

Also ... all the childrens rides are £1 each. 1 go on the helterskelter = £1. Even at the seaside (where there is no entrance fee) £1 would have got you at least 2 goes.

The fish & chips are £5.20 (with no childrens portions being available). You will also be lucky to find somewhere to sit with them as there is only 1 bench outside the shop and 1 across the road. I would advise a walk to the park area around the corner where there are a few more benches.
