Help - Managing new hair style!

I am looking for suggestions for products or methods for my new wavy hair. I have very fine mid length hair which naturally has a kink in it. I am fed up with blow drying it straight and using straightners and this weekend fancied a change. I bought a styler that creates soft waves and I am very pleased with the effect. However these drop and I am left with half curled ends after a couple of hours. Is there a product other than hairspray which would help?

You could try some old fashioned setting lotion? I still like to use that, i do hair extensions as a part time business and i cant fault the little blue bottles of the stuff!0

I'm useless with hair.
I was blessed with a fcuked up afro.
Ok slightly OTT, but I have VERY thick, wavy hair.
I get it cut & THINNED, I then GHD it till its poker straight, and this turns it into the sleek straight hair I was meant to have.
When big hair was "in" in the 80's (I was a teenager) I used to use moose, I actually found the cheap stuff good, but that might be because I used loads.
Paul Mitchell do some good stuff for styling, you could look at these.
Don't bother to blowdry it straight, wash at night, towel dry, go to bed, straighten it in the morning.
TRY MOOUSE (sp?), look for ones that claim long lasting hold.0 -
I have very fine wavy & flyaway hair, and have just discovered the Tigi Bed Head Superstar range - the conditioner is brilliant, both the rinse out and leave in ones. They are supposed to 'volumise' for 'massive hair', and I find on my fine wavy hair they make the curls much more defined and last longer - and that's without any drying or styling as I just wash and leave my hair.
Could be worth a try - you can pick them up quite cheaply at feelunique.com and they don't charge for P&P at the moment, or from Ebay.
