Name change after bankruptcy

Having trawled through all the useful threads I am unable to find an answer to the following and was wondering if anyone could help!
I filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago after a very messy divorce. The bankruptcy was filed in my old married name only and did not include my maiden name as no debts were incurred in this name. After the divorce/bankruptcy I started using my maiden name and then remarried and changed my name. We have recently filled out and application form for a job which did not request previous names or if either of us had been declared bankrupt, but did ask for our NI numbers. Can our prospective new employers discover my bankruptcy through my NI number as I was wondering if I should tell them even though they haven't asked?

I can't remember ever seeing a NI number recorded on any of the public records of bankruptcy, so I can't imagine that they could.
If your prospective employer isn't asking any questions about your credit history or previous names then I don't see why they should be concerned or take the trouble to search.
Is this a job that you feel might be effected if they found out?
I'll put this in a new thread so that more people will see your question.
