IPA starting. Changing payment date?

We have received our payment requests from Clarke Wilmott to begin paying our IPA over the next 36 months.
The payment date is to be the 13th of the month. We would rather it be in the last week of the month so that money can be paid over straight after payday (mine falls on the 26th and my wifes on last calendar day of month). This also makes sense as we will both be starting our nil tax IPAs soon as well and we would rather pay our contributions as soon as the money is paid in so we know what we have left to budget for the rest of the month.
The method of payment form seems to suggest that there is an air of flexibility in changing the date, as long as they are kept informed and can keep all their files up to date (the option of sending a big bundle of post dated cheques made me smile!!).
Are Clarke Wilmott pretty fair with this sort of thing and is it reasonable to ask the pay date to be put back as detailed above?
I wouldn't have worried had it been two days but more concerned that it is two weeks. I guess it is a fairly common request and of all people, I'm sure they do expect that bankrupts would want to budget accordingly!
I'll make up a schedule too so that we know where we are with payments and I'll similarly send them a copy too.

Sorry, don't know the answer to your query, but this made me smile too, hasn't anyone told Clarke Willmot we're not allowed a cheque book:rotfl: :rotfl:Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I haven't dealt with them, but I get the impression that Clarke Willmott are quite accommodating.
I would think they would be OK with it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

That should not be a problem. I asked for mine to be set to a specific date and they were fine with that0

Hiya Rosey
I changed my date from the 13th to the 25th and they were quite happy to change the payment date with no questions asked.
