Anyone can view their forecast online providing you register with the government gateway service.

Go to this page and register:
    https://secure.thepensionservice.gov.uk/statepensionforecast/
I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

That seems like an excellent idea to me, but I hadn't heard about that service before.

Perhaps Martin could give it a bit of publicity by including it in one of his e-mails?

The online service has been around for about a yr or so, and it works pretty well. (should be as accurate as your NI records)

When it first came out and i got a copy , took it in to work and checked it out manually, it was spot on. (I used to work on a Pension Forecasting technical team).

But, judging by the number of errors we had in our old main system, I dont know what errors have since popped up .
