date to go BR?

Have now finally done all the forms after much changing of mind/panic/sleeplessness.
I called up the local court and they let me know that I can go in on a monday or weds, but there is only usually a judge there on a mon or weds. The name bit is also likely to appear in the local paper the following week.
This is the bit im most concerned about. I know in the grand scheme of things it isnt that important, but I think my work would be quite judgemental and quite likely to see it as they have to scan the paper for work bits.
If I go BR on weds 13th, it would be likely to go in the paper the following Thursday. I will be on holiday then abroad (free hol with family).
My question is, would the OR be annoyed if I have to tell him/her that I cannot have my interview then as I will be on holiday?

Think others have had that problem and it has not been an issue. Go for it. You don't have to say where you are do you;) just say you will be on holiday and hope for the best. You could always give them a mobile number to get you on, it may tarnish your holiday, but just think how much it would cost the IS phoneing a mobile abroad:rotfl:

It would only cost the OR a standard UK call.
However the OP with the phone on roaming could be charged between about 20p and £1.50 a minute for the incoming call depending what country they are in.====0 -
