Hi All,
As its my first "budegting" month theOS way I have decided to go and try out our local market. My neightbour says its cheaper so I'll give it a go.
For all you market buyers out there when is the best time to get is cheapest?? Is it just before closing or will all the good bits have gone by then?
Also, if they have big bags/boxes of bits at the end of the day going really cheap what should I look out for? I dont really know what will store best but am happy to freeze stuff.
We eat a lot of veg, OH has 2 salads a day and I have HM soupsand curries etc so any saving will be a good one.
Thanks,
AL.
Oh, another one. Will I be better off shopping at the market or at a farm shop oif i can find one?

Just be careful on quality - I like farm shops best - (but then I'm close to lots of them.) My tip would be eat seasonal vegs - that's where you'll save most.0
