ELC changed their online system a month or two ago, and now discount vouchers won't work on items already on offer (3 for 2 and sale items).

I guess they got overloaded with orders using 20% off on things already on sale, and realised they were losing money. I was really lucky with this, as I managed to get a huge order placed the day before they changed it over using 20% off on lots of items already discounted ;D
