Only I will be declaring myself bankrupt, not my husband - see my previous thread.
In March he opened his own bank account so I would be unable to have access to the household income. This was a good thing considering the problems I had created, and he didn't do it in a malicious way.
My personal income is only 450 per month. Will they want to know my husbands income and how he spends it?
Before I did the gambling and created all the debt, we had a joint account which I had access to and paid my credit cards and loans from.
I'm sorry but I don't know how they work it all out.
Is there anyone I can see who would be able to help me understand it all?

On the forms you only need to declare how much your OH contributes to the shared household expenses. What he spends his own personal income on is none of the OR's concern.
If you can post up your rough income and expenditure some time, then we can go through it and help if we can see anything that might cause an issue.
You need to be listing the shared household expenses plus any that are personal to you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thank you Fermi
My husbands income is very high, just under 100k a year. So mine is pretty pathetic in comparison.
The monthly household expenditure for rent, bills, council tax, water rates, insurances, food, clothing etc comes to about 4,500
and with my income of only 450 you can see I obviously don't pay half.
That's the bit I find a bit muddly. Sorry I am very confused about all this.:j BSC 221 :jJanuary 2009 Club Number 7BR 30.01.090 -
Sorry Fermi just thought more about this.
I don't really have to pay for anything. He pays for everything.:j BSC 221 :jJanuary 2009 Club Number 7BR 30.01.090 -
