£1000 Holiday competition – Superbreak vouchers – Terms & conditions
1. Entries must be received by 30th September 2008.
2. The winner will be drawn at random within 4 weeks of the closing date and will be notified within 14 days of the draw taking place. The winner is required to contact VisitBritain to confirm acceptance of their prize within 14 days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, or if the person is not contactable, VisitBritain reserves the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry or to forfeit the prize.
3. By entering the competition, the winner consents to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and county to be used for publicity purposes by VisitBritain in printed and/or online formats.
4. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person allowed.
5. To enter the competition, users must sign up for the monthly Enjoy England e-newsletter at wwww.enjoyengland.com
6. The prize draw is open to all residents of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands excluding employees of VisitBritain and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
7. The prize consists of £1,000 in Superbreak holiday vouchers. No cash alternative will be offered. The prize cannot be exchanged or sold to a third party. Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd Leisure Break vouchers are valid for use for twelve months from the date of issue and may be transferred from one person to another without restriction, but may not be exchanged for cash, or travellers cheques. Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd Leisure Break vouchers may not be exchanged for food, drink or any other services at any hotels. The vouchers are only valid if redeemed as set above. Vouchers may be used as whole or part payment for Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd Leisure break. If the value of the booking(s) is less than that of the vouchers(s), Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd regret no cash refund can be made on any balance unused. If the balance of the booking(s) is more than that of the voucher(s) the balance must be paid by credit and debit card at the time of booking. Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd can accept no responsibility for vouchers lost or stolen.
8. The prize is non-transferable.
9. Open to adults aged 18+.
10. It is a condition of entry that the terms and conditions of the prize draw are accepted as final and that entrants agree to abide by the rules. No correspondence will be entered into.
11. VisitBritain will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault, postal/transmission delays or incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances VisitBritain reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
13. English law applies.
