This is the correct link now, as the first one although it offers 12 issues for £1, when you go to ordering it shows only 8 for £1 !! Still a bargain, but not as good. Have now ordered via this link.

    Hi Peeps :hello:

I'm sure it's explained somewhere above, but I'm always in a world of my own :rotfl:

Can I confirm, once I complete my details on that link, they issue a magizine and debit my a/c for £1.00 then I cancel my DD, is that correct?

How do I cancel though, do I call my bank or is there a link?

Oh, one more question to get my £1.00 worth :rotfl: I'm registered with MPS I won't get bombarded with junk mail will I

When you get your first issue you'll see an account number as such, you log in using that and some other details and you'll see which magazines you are subscribed too, you can cancel from there, might be worth letting a few magazines come before you cancel.

You will get a letter anyway before the price changes - Direct Debit requirement that companies have to advise you of a change of your DD so many days before hand, you could cancel then and then once you've done that cancel the DD payment with your bank.

As long as you tick any boxes to say you don't want to receive any other offers, you won't get any other mail, as when you have business with a company they can send out other info unless you say not to.

I'm on the older deal where after the 12 issues the rest were 50p I thought about cancelling, but at the moment for 50p I though well I was paying almost that at the time for What's On TV, so continued it.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

  • Reading the offer, it says that it's £1 for 12 months and the £19.99 for the next 6 months. If we cancel once the £1 is taken and have had a few magazines, thery're not going to start writing to you after 12 months demanding that £19.99 are they?

This is what they write on the site:

"Subscribe to Radio Times by Direct Debit and receive 12 issues for £1.00. Then your subscription will continue at £19.99 every 6 months (26 issues) thereafter."

    Isn’t it confusing? :rotfl:

I don't think it is to new customers, don't know how long I'll get the issues for around 50p, but last week they took my 2nd payment for 26 weeks so it will be at least a year at around 50p

This was an offer code for those loosing the NTL issues - I wasn't an NTL customer, they didn't check for which addresses were in NTL areas or Telewest areas (which I am) or non-cable areas.

I did this a few months ago and am very pleased with the offer. £19.99 for around 26 magazines which cost £1.05 + is a good deal, I think.

Does this work or not? I only intend on paying £1.
