Whatever you do, don't go away!
There's a wealth of information and help on this site, and this board is very friendly. I'm still hoping that we celebrate your birthday in a virtual way one day.
Lurk if you prefer, but if you want to get rid of your debt, here is where you should be.

I'll stick about
I have started to look in a couple of other forums although I'm finding it a bit tricky! I'm sure I'll get the hang of this place though...

Shaziow,
Have you any friends with a car? You could suggest doing a car boot together. It's a good way to get cash quickly.
Hope your birthday goes well, you never know, your friends might do a whipround and pay for the meal.

Not that are the car boot-ing type, that I can think of anyway! Could be worth thinking about though - my Dad's partner may be interested in doing one (and could borrow Dad's car which is quite big).
Thank you

Still no ND pack but they are sending another one out first class (I spoke to them today). I didn't want to wait any longer so I got the info/letters online.
So today I have sent the letters off with my personal budget (SOA effectively) first class. I know this could be only the first step in a long battle, but I feel somewhat relieved and pleased with myself.
I have 'offered' to pay £3 a month to each of my creditors, as National Debtline said it wasn't worth doing it pro rata with what little I have to offer as some of the creditors would only be getting about £1 each.Debt: £5343.67 + secured loan (August 2008)Target: Just learn to 'manage' at the moment!0
