hi all this might be posted in the wrong place!
My ex husband and i Parted 8 years ago, we got divorced 3 years ago and i have just removed his name from the mortgage and deeds. I have been paying everything in the household since he left 8 years ago. Hes paid nothing for me or the house plus he has not paid any child support for 4 years for our son who is 9 years old. He has just informed me that he may claim bankrupcy on debts he has built up in his own name since leaving me. Estimated debt of £20,000. My property is on a DIYSO scheme so i only own a percentage of it. He has told me that the bankrupcy agency may come to me for the money he owes. I haven't got that sort of money!! HELP!!!!

Hi Wanttosave and welcome. First of all don't worry (at least not at this stage!). On Monday morning phone one of the debt charities like CCCS or National Debtline. In the meantime, you say your husband's name is off the mortgage, did you get the house as part of the divorce settlement?
