uk to canada

possibly moving to canada in the next 3 months.we have credit card debt of about 9000 .bad i know.i think the best thing to do would be to get aloan and pay off the credit cards here and then send the money back from our wages there into our current account here to pay the loan.
is that the best option?
really need some help with this.
or do you think this amount of debt should stop us seeking a better life.
may not get another chance to go.
