Hi, not very savvy about reheating, but made a huge tuna pasta bake tonight and there are 2 good size portions left.
What is the best way to reheat to avoid drying it out totally and also to ensure no food poisoning nasties?
Thanks.

Hi purplepatch,
To reheat a pasta bake I usually spray it with a little bit of water and cover it to prevent if from being too dry. Then I zapp it in the microwave. Just make sure that it's piping hot before serving.

Hi Puprlepatch,
Here's the government advice on reheating food Safe Food taken from the food standards agency website. I find now the only way I will cook or reheat food is to use a thermometer to test temperatures. The Food Standards Agency recommends that food is cooked to a temperature of 70°C for 2 minutes or an equivalent temperature and time e.g. 75°C for 30 seconds. It is recommended that you record cooking or reheated food temperatures.
