HSBC help

Hi - about 3 weeks ago we took out an HSBC re-mortgage at 6.49% for 5 years (with a £799 Booking Fee) which will start in January. "Good job" I thought as mortgages are supposed to go up. Now I have seen that they have a 5.98% mortgage for 5 years with a £999 Booking Fee! Damn!
We are Plus Account customers. The re-mortgage we took out is £121 K over 21 years and we will be paying (I think) £885 p.m. over the fixed 5 years.
My question: is there a tool where I can find out how much (if any) I would save by taking this new special offer?
Thanks!
David

you will only wind yourself up more by working this out, I am sure they won't entertain switching you.
The first fixed rate I ever saw arranged was a 20 year one at 12.7% which seemed like cracking value at the time (a very long time ago!).......time can heal but also be very, very cruel!Happily an ex mortgage broker!0
