Once upon a time, you added the cost of the item and it's postage together, then decided if the price was good enough to go ahead and buy.
Now everyone wants the postal charges down. The seller's postage costs are still there and have to be got back from somewhere.

The sellers "get back" their P&P costs by charging buyers for P&P.

My point exactly and sellers are now discovering that if they do charge for all their postage and packaging costs, their postage DSR suffers and all the problems that go with that.
The only way round it is to change where the balance of your postal costs come from and when you do, the result is that ebay get more fees.

It's the way they spin'em, but you do have to admire how they've got buyers to swing it for them.

How is a gouging seller going to stop a buyer commenting on the P&P gouging? He isn't, because he can't, and all the pouting and tellings off in the world won't change that. A good thing in this case.
