CCCS DMP Reviews

Hi
Wonder if anyone can advise me, we started our DMP with CCCS in April/May but since then our salaries have had a slight increase and also our tax credits have gone up quite a bit.
Alongside this our outgoings have gone up a bit as well and our mortgage is going to go up in January  and then March  as we have 3 different products on our mortgage.
Should we be asking for a review ? We can manage to pay CCCS no problem, I feel a bit dishonest as we have more coming in now than we did when we set up the DMP but after Christmas who knows whats going to happen with our mortgage, I dont want to start paying more and then have to go back to paying the same amount or even less in the New Year.
We havent really had a lot of hassle from our creditors and at least 2 have accepted the DMP formally, the others just take the money and dont say anything for the moment.
Any advice
Thanks
K xx

Im with the cccs and have done this, do a review with them just now, and then again as you curcumstances change, if you can pay a bit more just now then it can only help things!0

Thanks Sophsters, but surely offering more for a brief period of time then offering less wont that antagonise creditors - I dont want to get in a position where its going smoothly then I have to reduce my payments and they start threatening me with allsorts

Interestingly, CCCS told me not to do it as it would antagonise the creditors and they would expect more every month and could get quite nasty. Am a bit concerned that there is conflicting advice from CCCS.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
Mortgage free since 20140 -
Hmm, yes DeepinDebt thats what I think too. We arent too bad money wise at the moment but that will definately change in a few months and we could see ourselves having to pay less and dont want to start rocking the boat when so far its not been too bad.
At the end of the day we dont expect to be on our DMP for its full course as my husband is doing a 3 year course with a guaranteed much better paid job at the end (he is seconded at the moment and just finishing the first year) our youngest will go to school by that time too so very little childcare - so we will be in a position to pay more eventually but at the moment things are going along ok

Sorry to be a pain but does anyone else have any experience of reviews with CCCS
Thanks

If you explain to CCCS that you are managing your DMP payments at the moment and be honest and tell them that you feel you could struggle after Christmas they will listen. Remember what they are giving you is advice its up to you if you take it or not.
I know of several people in the DMP support thread that have recently had to contact companies to reduce payments due to the rising costs and they don't seem to have had any problems. I think everyone understands times are hard.0
