What happens on discharge?

Was just wondering what happens when you are about to be discharged, either automatic or early? Does the OR credit check you or anything like that before you are given discharge?
I only ask because we now have a chunk of money currently about £2k that is not needed for household bills etc (mostly becasue we havent been spending what we used to and staying in because i had a baby) I know sometimes your bank balance will show up on your credit report, i dont want the money taking off us as im planning on booking a nice holiday for us & the kids next year as a start to our new debt free life (we havent even had a weekend away in 6 years)

Don't worry the OR is far too busy to check on everybody, and then only when suspicions have been roused. If they are considering you for ED then they wil send a new IPOQ through with EDREV in the right hand corner. Thats when they may query things but at the min you are safe.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
