How much to build a 1800-2000ft bungalow

Sorry if not meant to post here but unsure where to put it!
Would have the site for free. Would like to know how much it would cost to build this size of house. I would be budgeting and always looking for the best deals. Looking for the best possible price or at least an idea of how much per sq ft.
Many thanks

Bungalows are OK in fact they really only have one flaw

    Didn't find that very helpful!
I know they are not very cost efficent (sp) but if pp allowed would build a dormor.

not the sort of site you're going to get builders quotes on this one I'm afraid.

you will need to speak to a local builder

I got a price for knocking down one derelict bungalow and building another in its place. 2000 - 2500 sq ft and the quote was circa £300,000 but this is in Surrey

you could always check out "self build " websites....its easy to get a quote for a timber frame dwelling , then usually on the site theres a method to factor in build costs and project manager costs etc....that should give you a rough example....remember as well at the moment....theres a lot of builders and not a lot of work...

start here, check out their brochures etc
