On the stright and narrow now!

So, i've finally sorted my self out!

Before i had DD/SO's comming out of everywhere and at any time!

I've now made every DD/SO come out on the 2nd of every month (im paid on the 31st) so as soon as im paid all outgoings are covered.

I have sold the car, and made £250! Went stright onto the loan.

Looking at my sig, you can see im making a whooppping extra payment to my loan AND being able to start saving for a deposit.

After all of my payments i still have enough money to enjoy my self a little.

Thanks for everyones help (i have read alot of others problems and used answers for my self) and heres to being as happy as ms_lonson is today!!

Well done, you are doing really well.

At least after the 2nd of the month you know exactly what is yours to spend (all of mine used to come out on the 1st, otherwise its too confusing!!.)

    Keep up the good work.

I get most of my bills coming out of the bank at around the same time but I also always make sure I have enough in the bank to cover them so that I don't go overdrawn.

I ignore my bank balance and instead keep a tally of what I have to spend after bills, in my diary on a bit of paper. Works for me.

  • Well done samgoffe!

I always write down everything that's due to come in and go out for the month in my big notebook, then I tick it off when it's come out of my account (check it every day online). I work out exactly how much is left and that is split into 4 weeks. That is when I know how much i've got left after bills for food/misc.

I do a combination of skintchick and black-saturn! I have all my bills going out at roughly the same time each month, but I also keep a note on paper so I know how much I have available afterwards.
