bankruptcy and my home

i have lived with my partner for 10 years in her house she pays the mortgage and all utility bills my name is not on the deeds i pay her a weekly sum. if i decide to petition for bankruptcy will my partners house or part of it be considered an asset of mine

    I'm not too sure when it comes to houses but I wouldn't have thought it would be classed as an asset however the OR may deem that you have an interest in the property and ask that this benificial interest be bought back?

    I'm not too clued up on houses so best to wait for someone more knowledgable to answer :)

    Im not an expert on this but i would'nt have though so as you are really renting from her.
    Its only things you own in your name that gets taken into account as far as im aware.
    Im sure somebody will be along who has a bit more knowledge than me.
    You should contact one of the charties before making any final decisions.
    I spoke with National debt line and found them very helpfull.
