Cut into the chicken breast (but not all the way through) Push in a teaspoon or so of pesto. Wrap in bacon. bake.

    Yum.

Can top with cheese too - but haven't done this yet.

Or just wrap chicken breast in bacon and bake - serve with whatever you want - have them hot or cold.

Or do chicken breast pizzas. Flatten the chicken breast with a rolling pin or meat tenderiser - top with tomato sauce and pizza style toppings.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

I'd probably make some kind of chicken stew: meat and veg. chopped, cooked with plenty of 'juice' (whatever you have, or water), then serve with pasta. I always have plenty of herbs and spices, sauces like soy, worcester, oxo cubes, that kind of thing, which usually help me to make things taste nice.

There are lots of experienced cooks on these boards, so someone will come along soon with some much better suggestions, but whilst you wait, you could play around with Cooking By Numbers which I saw posted somewhere on here one day.

    Good luck.

    :)

how about putting the chick breasts in an oven proof dish, pour a tin of chopped tomatoes over, add a spoonful of pickle, dash of worcester sauce, cover with foil, and bake about 170-180 for about 45mins

we usually have this with mash, or some salad :D

I just entered your ingredients in Cooking by Numbers and it brought up some yummy-sounding meals. I haven't looked at them beyond the titles, but they look good on the surface of it: Bacon and Onion Hash, Chicken and Rice bake, Chicken and Tarragon pasta (ahh, I ticked the 'herbs and spices' box.. yours would have to be Chicken and Mixed Spice pasta :p ), Carrot and Tomato soup, etc..

    Mmm...'ungry now!!

    :D

How off? Obviously if they are green or slimey then you shouldn't use them, but if they just have a few sprouts they'll be fine. Have a look at this thread:
