    what is an E machine? I am looking for a computer for my Son and he wants to be able to download music and play some games on this . Would this be a suitable machine for his needs

    this would be more than enough for your son and to be honest i got one about 5 years ago and it's been upgraded, downgraded and turned inside out yet it's still going tho i have sold it on lol

    Looks a nice machine, but when you add the price of a monitor, keyboard and mouse, there's better Dell deals out there.

    I added to basket and it added symantec at a discounted rate of 29.99 end price £329.99 ( without monitor?) I haven't purchased yet because I will need a monitor any ideas on a cheap flat monitor?

    if you look @ the bottom of the main page you can untick the symantec package if you find you don't want it.

    also go online and see if you can find a local pc fair 4 things like monitors,keyboards and such.

    Intel Extreme Graphics are almost useless for modern games, this would not be a good gaming PC unless the games he wants to play are at least 3 years old. You would be much better off with a computer with ATi or NVidia graphics.
