I've just had a bit of a self-indulgent stroll around Lidl. Got some scrummy bits and pieces. They had some lovely leather ballet pump shoes for 14.99 but none in my size, they would have been perfect for work.

I know - I found a couple of quid, a remote control and a dalek plunger last time I checked down our sofa I think.

"Dalek plunger"...that's a new phrase for them... A remote controlled one too...

no - it closes at midnight tonight Bun, but barring any last minute Eastern Bloc Eurovision style voting from somewhere, I think I can say he's won.

sigh..........I'm looking at holidays....I've found some reasonably cheap flights from Southampton next March but its to Alicante - we've been to Benidorm for the last 3 years due to that being the cheapest flight that pops up, not sure if I'd want to go for a fourth time. I've found a self catering block which I know exactly where it is and for 7 nights s/c it would be £170. Bit of a bummer though as this year it was £150 for 8 nights half board in a 4 star hotel, but the ridiculously cheap flights just don't exist now. To be honest, I prefer s/c but OH said he preferred half board, but I think he got a bit bored by being tied to specific meal times and did say he thought s/c next time would be good.

I fancy Alicante or Calpe but it's nowhere near as cheap - more like £220 for 7 nights s/c.
